About Cat Morgan

What can you say about yourself? I’m the closest person to me who knows the least about me. I’m always discovering secret things about myself.

I started writing poetry when I was about 8 years old. I read my first poem to my little brother (at 6 years of age, he was the closest thing to a peer in my world). My brother listened carefully and then declared it a forgery – I must have stolen it from a magazine.

My first compliment!

I’ve always been writing something – journals, song lyrics, short stories, half a dozen novels that never got past a first page or two and a Table of Contents – most of it fits into a large plastic tub, where it currently resides under the guest bed.

I started drawing when I was young too – the best advice I ever got was from my 7th grade art teacher, who told us: “This the key – if you learn this, you can draw anything. The key is – perspective.” What I find intriguing lately is using false perspective points. Surrealism has always held a fascination for me.

After too many decades trying to survive the rat race, the daily grind, with the only goal being able to make it to retirement age when I could finally stop, I just ran aground. I couldn’t do it anymore.

So I pulled out my heart’s attic a dream that had lain dormant all that time. I had “gotten” a poem in 2007 that I knew was important, and I was determined to do something about it now. Images of corresponding pieces crafted with special energetic properties instantly sprang into my imagination. I was “getting” what I started calling “Divine Downloads” of things that I instantly knew how to put together and why they worked energetically. The resulting creation was three energetic constructs that revolve around my 3-part poem – the birth of The Peace is NOW Tour.

It has been my absolute joy and wonder to begin this path of exploration. Thank you for coming along on my journey – whether for a moment or for a life time. You are the reason I am here.

I love you.

Blessings,

~Cat~
